The Talon V is identical to the Talon IV except for the the headstock orientation, which is slanted up (i.e. reversed). It might as well have been called the IVR.
Talons with a Kahler-labelled tremolo had no screws all through the neck at the nut, and no string retention bar. Other tremolos did.

The guitar appeared in Fender Frontline first in winter (i.e. early) 1991 and last in autumn 1993.
