Searching for HardshellCase and Pickguard - TALON 1

Post by s_danilo »

Dears, this is my first message here.

As I mentioned on the subject, I've been trying to find (for a while now):

1) that gray hardshell case with the engraved HEARTFIELD logo, AND

2) any place I could order a new pickguard for my TALON 1. PICKGUARD PLANET has a TALON 3 model, but that is all.

If any of you can help me, please send the information to sergiodanil@gmai.com

PS > I'm the proud owner of a 1991 Talon 1 in Montego Black and have sent its specs to the site's database. :0)

Dave from FretsOnTheNet.com can make you a new custom pickguard. Just send him yours so he can use it as a template.

A case is hard to come by. Best scenario is to buy another guitar with case and sell the guitar. Done it myself.

Just looked at Dave's website and it seems he has a lot of custom material... that's a great finding. \0/

As for the case, I almost bought one case "with a guitar in it" just like you did, but I was young back then... ;-)
Maybe won't let it go next time

Thanks so much for helping with this!!

You're welcome. If you contact Dave tell him Paul from NY sent you. Some of the Ibanez Proline 1770 pics are my guitars on his site !

That's great news Sergio, thank you for letting me know! I'm happy that you've managed to buy that case! Now you can carry your Talon 1 anywhere in the proper case. ;)
