I recently purchased a 1991 Elan I. The information on this site states that the scale length of the Elan I is 648mm or 25.5 inches. I measured mine and it is 25 inches or 638mm, like a PRS. Also, my notched straight edge for checking a 25.5 inch neck does not fit this guitar (just to confirm that the measurement is accurate).
The information on this site states that the scale length for an Elan II is 638mm. I believe that the scale length information for these models has been mixed up.

Re: Elan I scale length
Thanks for sharing that information. I didn't have any Elan models myself so I never measured them personally. Will fix this on the site.

Re: Elan I scale length
I think the published scale length for the Elan I is 25.1", and for the Elan II is 25.5". I have one of each. Both are slightly longer than the published scale length when intonated, more like about 25.2 and 25.6, but the exact length depends on which string you measure. They are different than each other by about .40" though.
